Description |
Mary-Anne Watson is a London-based artist with a passion for sketching and a love for colour. Often working in watercolour, Watson believes that the medium allows for "happy mistakes" to occur in her work and grants a hint of unpredictability to her process. Still life in nature are Watson's favorite subject. In creating a work, she first allows the paint and paper to naturally form a shape with which she then sketches and draws out a form. Biographical Information: Watson considers herself to be a self-taught artist and is a member of the Lambeth Art Association. |
