Lynn Huntley-Wyczolkowski is a Toronto-born photographer currently living and working in Mississauga. Her knowledge of photography comes primarily through her training in television and advertising production. She explains her work as an attempt to capture her subjects in natural conditions utilizing classical photographic techniques in an organic approach to the medium. Her floral photography showcases the intriguing compositions that exist within floral forms, with works ranging from the literal to elusive abstract close-ups.
Born and educated in Toronto, Wyczolkowski is a self-trained photographer. She travelled throughout Europe as a photographic assistant and in 1982 accompanied a film crew throughout Asia. Exhibitions of her works include shows at the O'Keefe Centre, Toronto; the Focus Gallery, Toronto; the World Exchange Plaza, Ottawa; and a 1997 European solo exhibition. Wyczolkowski 's work is found in the public collections of the Art Gallery of Nova Scotia, the Art Gallery of Hamilton, the Art Gallery of Mississauga, the Tom Thomson Memorial Art Gallery and the Canadian Embassy in Warsaw.
