Libby Hague's practice can be viewed as a psychological self-portrait that traces patterns of influence as they move between creative life and private life. The contradictory themes that often recur in Hague's work -risk and luck, disaster and rescue, order and chaos- are compiled into complicated and opposing textures with bold colours.
